Delhi to Manali

Your adventure begins with an overnight journey from Delhi to Manali. As you leave behind the plains of North India, the landscape gradually transforms into lush green valleys and towering Himalayan mountains. The drive takes approximately 12 to 14 hours.

Manali – Acclimatization and Leisure

Arrive in Manali and spend the day resting and acclimatizing before heading to higher altitudes. If time and energy permit, explore local attractions such as Hadimba Devi Temple, Solang Valley, and Mall Road.

Manali to Jispa

After breakfast, begin one of the most scenic drives in the Himalayas. Cross the iconic Rohtang Pass or Atal Tunnel and continue through Lahaul Valley. Pass through Keylong before reaching Jispa, a peaceful village located along the Bhaga River.

Jispa to Sarchu

Today’s drive takes you deeper into the high Himalayas. Cross the dramatic Baralacha La Pass and travel through vast open landscapes surrounded by rugged mountains. Reach Sarchu, located on the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh.

Sarchu to Leh

This is one of the most exciting and challenging drives of the journey. Cross Nakee La, Lachulung La, and the famous Gata Loops with their 21 sharp hairpin bends. Continue over Tanglang La, one of the highest mountain passes in the world, before descending into Leh.

Leh Local Sightseeing

Spend the day acclimatizing and exploring Leh’s cultural landmarks. Visit Shanti Stupa for panoramic views, explore the historic Leh Palace, and browse the colorful local market. The day is kept light to help your body adjust to the altitude.

Leh to Nubra Valley

Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. Visit Diskit Monastery and its giant Maitreya Buddha statue, then head to Hunder Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels.

Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

Travel through the spectacular landscapes of Ladakh to reach Pangong Lake, one of the most iconic destinations in the region. The lake is famous for its crystal-clear waters that shift through shades of blue and turquoise depending on the sunlight.

Pangong Lake to Leh

Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the lake. After breakfast, return to Leh via Chang La Pass, enjoying scenic mountain vistas along the way. Spend the evening shopping for souvenirs or relaxing at one of Leh’s cozy cafés.
